Can Veins Be Grown Up Safely?

Hi, i have now destroyed all surface veins on my arms, legs, and neck! Now i move to my groin! (Wether u like it or not) How do i get the vein properly and safely? I know there is an artry and an nerve in the same location so how do i manage to get the vein first time?

Hi, Moving to the groin is kind of a dangerous venture unless you know the anatomy of the area well. The Femoral artery, vein and nerve lie in extremely close proximity to each other just below the inguinal crease. Even if you successfully cannulate the vein you will have high chances of landing up in Deep vein thrombosis of the entire limb. Further, if you accidentally cannulate the artery, it is likely that it will not sleep bleeding and can be life threatening and finally, if you injure the nerve then you could various sensation losses and weakness in the same limb. So tread with utmost care if at all. I strongly advice you not to take this serious step.Take care. Dr Rishi
