Can Vitamin C Tablets Be Taken While On Warfarin?

Hi Doctor, I am on warfarin 5mg daily. My neurologist is still trying to stabillized an INR between 2-3. My INR the other week was 2.52, than last Tuesday was 3.37. My warfarin dosage in a week before i got the inr of 2.52 and 3.37 was 7.5mg for tue. and wed., then the. rest of the week is 5mg. So when it increaed to 3.37, my doctor decreased my warfarin to 5mg daily for another week. I will have my inr checked again on Tuesday. My question is, can I take Vitamin C(sodium ascorbate) 500mg? If so, up to how many mg.could I take. Thanks, Sylver

Warfarin and vitamin C do not interact with one another and can be safely taken together.
Please follow the instructions of your doctor when it comes to mode of use and the dose and let a doctor know of any possible complaints that you may have with the use of these drugs.
