Can Walking For Several Hours Cause Orange Spots Below The Feet?

Hello, my mom, sister and I have recently traveled to NY for five days. We would stand on our feet and walk hours several times each day. On the 5th day my sister discovered she orange spots on the soles of both feet. Mom and I checked our feet as well but there were no spots. We figured my sister might had stepped into something and paid it no mind. The next morning on our way back home, I discovered I have a slight orange/brownish spot near my baby toe. So I would like to know if the spots came about from being on our feet all day or if it s anything serious. What can we do to get rid of these spots?

hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you may have pigmented purpuric dermatoses that occurs due to prolonged standing or walking.
my treatment advise would be:
-- avoid prolonged standing.
-- put a pillow under your feet while sleeping.
-- you may use topical corticosteroids such as Betnovate cream twice a day.
-- you may also take tab levocetrizine once a day for itching.
- you may also take tab vitamin c 500 mg once a day.
-- it may take 2-3 wks to disappear.
if persistent, consult a dermatologist nearby.

wishing you good health
thank you.
