Hi , How are you doing ? Pregnancy is a chemical & hormonal attachment of fetus to mother's womb. It is not a physical attachment. So no matter what you do, eat or drink the baby will stay attached to the uterus. Only damaging factor is Infections, any sort of fevers can affect the baby. Only difference is that she will be more tired in pregnancy, will need more food , water& energy. She may feel tired at a shorter distance. She can do routine chaos . Pregnancy is not a disease , soo don't put any restrictions on her. Hope I have clarified your queries, do write back if any more queries All the best Dr.Balakrishnan
