Can We Use Celexa For Gastric Hypomotility?

Dear Doctor,
I'm wondering if there is an "off-label" use of Celexa (citalopram) for gastric hypomotility. A friend of mine has had several hospital admissions for irritable bowel, bloating, pain, and mixed (diarrhea, constipation), and heard the use of Celexa (SSRI) can be used. What do you advise?
