Can Weakness, Chills, Body Ache, Nausea, Dizziness And Headache Indicate Flu?

For the last week plus I have had flulike symptoms, weakness, chills,all over body aches, joint pain mild nausea, headache and dizziness but the symptoms have been only strong at night. I will feel ok during the day, but by night it repeats the process . I thought it was dehydration and have been drinking plenty of fluids but no change.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you weakness, chills, body ache, nausea, dizziness and headache which seems to be viral fever or flu. Poor immunity of your body is major cause for your condition. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. Drink plenty of fluids, have proper rest. Your symptoms will resolve in 3-4 days. Take analgesic such as Flexon and take light diet. You should take anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to prevent fever and body-ache. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit general physician once and get it examined and start treatment after proper examination and prescription. Go for blood tests such as W.B.C count as well as increased count will indicate infection in body.
