Can Wine Be Consumed In Food While On Metronidazole And Doxcycline?

My daughter has been prescribed Metronydazole and doxcycline . AS a nurse I know that she should not be drinking alcohol with this but if we are using wine in food cooking, does the alcohol evaporation prevent any side effects. Heated discussion is occurring!
