Can Withdrawal From Levothyroxine Cause Depression?

my mom has been taking levothyroxine for 20 year . her doctor discontinued the thyroid pills. everything has changed with her ,no motivation depressed, what are some of the effects from not taking the pill.and should she get back on the thyroid medication

I really appreciate your concern, the only option you have is get done the thyroid function test, if this is normal then no need to start medicine again but it need to be repeat the test again some time natural remission may be possible, this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
