Can Withdrawal From Smoking Cause Lose Of Breath And Voice?
Hi, I am 50 yrs old 5' 2" and weigh 196. I recently quit smoking in March after 32 yrs. I thought I would feel better but I feel worse. I am tired ALL the time . I have gained 50 lbs. I have no energy whatsoever but worst of all when I'm talking I lose my breath and my voice goes out. I am extremly concerned that I might have cancer. I am recently unemployed and lost my medical benefits so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
hi dear, smoking for 32 years is long period so side effects of smoking or you can say complication of smoking now appear in your body. lose of breath is due to lung problem secondary to smoking like fibrosis of lung or any other problem and loss of voice is due to laryngeal nerve damage or infection due to smoking. quit smoking helps you a lot. do x-ray chest and complete blood out. also consult chest physician. thank you.
