Can Yeast Grow Tolerant To Diflucan With Just 5 Doses? If Not, Would It Affect Liver If 5 More Doses Are Taken?
I have a rash under my breasts which was previously diagnosed as a yeast infection. I took 200mg of Diflucan once a day for five days and it cleared up almost instantly (18 months ago). So I ordered that drug online. I'd say this time there's only mild improvement. Today is day 4. I've had this for a while this time and have been treating it topically with monistat cream and medicated powder. I'm worried that maybe the yeast has grown tolerant to this drug. Can I take another 5 day course without worrying about liver damage? Or is it likely not to help?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I can understand your worry, the fungal infection might have developed the resistance against the drug which you have been taking, now you have to treat with broad spectrum drugs, no need to increasing the dose if the resistance is there, or else this is might not be the fungal infection again you have to get it confirm before you think for another drugs have word with doctor, take care and good bye.
