Can You Explain Facet Degenerative Change And Suggest Medication For The Same

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT facet degenerative changes means. I am always in bad pain in my lower back & legs. I have had crazy & they say: Degenerative changes & grade 1 Anterolisthesis of L 4 on L5. Facet degenerative changes are present. I know what the first part means. But not the part about facets. No one seems to understand how much pain I am in.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The facet joints are the areas where the two vertebra meet. Facet degeneration means that there are arthritic changes occurring in this area.

Anterolisthesis- one vertebra is abnormally in front of the other.

Degeneration of areas in the back can result in significant pain. You may want to consider physical therapy. It may help you.

I hope this helps
