Can You Get Hepatitis C From A Needle Prick Injury?

Hello While I was sewing course for crafts ı got an 1cm cut to my finger. Some blood had come. I washed my hand with soap. Then I asked my teacher if any other students get this kind of accidents she said yes. Do you think that is it possible to get Hepatitis c this way. I am worried because of other unknown health situation fir these students. Thank you very much in advance
