Canker Sore In Mouth, Red Dot On Hard Palate. Concerned

Hi I m 18 and I think I have a cold, (sore scratchy throat, runny/stuffy nose, postnasal drip, congestion, headache, diarrhea and enlarged lymph nodes) but just this morning I woke up and had a canker sore in the back of my mouth on what I think you call the soft palate , and a pimple sized red dot in the very middle of my hard palate. I have a few winter colds under my belt but never has it lasted this long and have those two things happened. I don t have any sores in the back of my throat like for strep , because that is what I was mostly concerned with.
