Cat Scratch On Face, Bleeding. Washed With Water, Dettol. Will It Leave A Scar?

In a cat fight, I was scratched by my cousin on the face. It's a long nail cut and looks very ugly, it bled initially so I washed it many times with water. I tried applying ice, boroline, raw detol but the scar doesn't seem to be doing good. Pls help me. I really need to get rid of this. Will it leave a scar when it's healed? Pls tell me a way to heal it soon without leaving any mark behind.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

If any bacteria was present under the nail then it is possible that the area may be infected and this would delay healing.
You should consider the application of a topical antibiotic. These are usually available over the counter. Examples would include medication such as:clindamycin, erythromycin, neosporin, bactroban.

It may leave a scar but the scar should fade with time as remodelling of the wound occurs.

I hope this helps
