Cause And Cure For Painful, Heavy Irregular Periods

hello, i have a weird prolem, my period this month was super weird it lasted about 1/2 a day extremely painful and heavy...and after that 6 days of brownish spotting with some bloody discharges. today, when the spotting stopped i wiped some sort of gray clot...i almost had a heart attack..is this horribly bad?
