Cause For Growth Under The Skin Above The Clitoris?
Yes please. I have a growth under the skin right above my clitoris on the left side. When I first noticed it I thought maybe it was an ingrown hair or a boil. However, when I would squeeze it nothing would come out, but it felt like something was coming out under the skin. It feels like a tumor and is hard to the feel it has continued to grow from about 1 inch to about 4 inches currently and is very tender and painful to the touch. When I squeeze it now nothing seems to be coming out under the skin and I have quit trying as it is very painful. This has been going on for a month. I am Caucasian, 55 year old female.
I don't think it is a tumour or ingrown hair. I believe it can be Bartholin cyst. It is formed as the duct of Bartholin gland is blocked. Anyway you can send a photo of the cyst to me in order to reassure the diagnosis. You can use hot and cold baths to make it open. If it still doesn't open you may need to go to gynecologist to open and drain it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
