Cause Of Sore Little Itchy Scalp Near Crown Without Anything Apparently Visible?

i have very sore scalp near crown it is about the size of my hand laid across the crown area .. it is uncomfortable.. i went to a dermatollogist this past year ... he said he could not see anything ... it had deminished somewhat by then ... my scalp is not red .. . it comes and goes.. started about 5 months ago i think .. after a day or so very tiny bumps break out there... usually only 5or less ....they itch only a little ....i can't see them in the position they are in ... no drainage of any kind ... i do not scratch them but keep feeling up there .. im afraid i may have some sort of disease like cancer ... i have had the shingles in my rib area about twenty yrs. ago .. i have genital herpes ..i don't have this feeling anywhere else ...

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The reasons for the pain on the scalp, is difficult to list. May be the dandruff, bacterial infectin, infection of the hair follicles, or tension head ache, pain due to the frontal sinusitis, or gastric irritation etc.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an MRI, for diagnosis.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to keep you healthy .
