Causes For A Painful Swollen Lump On The Tip Of The Crack

I have had a painful lump on the tip of my crack for several days now. I can't think of anything that I've done recently for this to occur. I am now beginning to worry about what this is but I don't have health insurance , so I don't want to go to the doctor unless I absolutly have too. I just need to know what's going on.
- Oh, and the lump first swelled up the day I ended my menstrule.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

I think that this condition of your can be due to a condition called Bartholin cyst or may be be a abscess so I will suggest you have a course of antibiotics Doxycycline and Amoxyclav for 5 days and if the swelling doesn't reduce then please visit a doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
