Chances Of Infection Having The Dishes Come In Contact With The Harmful Substance?

I found some mold on a dish drying mat in my kitchen where i had been drying dishes. i do not know how long its been on the mat. It was also some on the counter beneath the mat. I immediately threw it out. But is it harmful that we may have eaten off of the dishes that were on the mat? None of us have been sick or anything. I threw the mat away and washed down the counter tops. We have a 5 year old and i want to make sure we are fine. Thanks
