Chances Of Pregnancy After Having Delayed Periods And Partner Not Ejaculating Inside?
Hi. i had sex a couple weeks ago and i was supposed to get my period this week. i show no signs of pregnancy at all but my period is a little late. the month isn't over yet so there is still possibility of it coming and i had it at the very end of last month and the first day of this month. I was wondering. Can having sex delay your period or push it back? I haven't taken a pregnancy test because i know my partner didn't ejaculate inside me, but should i still take one. I don't think i'm pregnant. advice?
Each unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy. Even without your partner ejaculating inside, the chances are reduced but not zero. Therefor pregnancy cannot be entirely ruled out.
I will suggest that you patiently wait up to at least 1week after the expected date of menses before taking any pregnancy test.
Please, the best way to prevent unwanted or unplanned pregnancy is to use a reliable method of contraception. Also, condoms help present against STDs. Please, talk to your doctor about this if it is something you would want to try.
