Chest Injury, Difficulty Breathing, Back Pain. Symptoms Cause Of Worry?
Today during basketball practice a teammate and I were sprinting and went head on with each other. Although we did hit heads, that didn t effect me much, but her shoulder hit my chest very hard. At first it was hard to breathe, now it s about 2 hours later and breathing is easier, but my chest, mainly my back, hurts really bad. Is this something serious or will I just be sore?
Hello,
Although it looks like just a sore but for safety purpose, you must get an x- ray done to rule out any fracture.
Take ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day and avoid lifting any heavy weight for few days.
If it is not a fracture then you should be allright in next 4 to 5 days.
Thanks
