Chest Pain, Right Ventricular Hypertrophy. Done EKG. Suggest?

14 year old son had chest pains two times in a row! Weeks later son goes for a annual mentions to dr and he does ekg. Shows right ventricular hypertrophy. The kicker is I repeated it next day at my clinic I work at . Showed different reading! He is thin and tall not in sports only band. How accurate are ekg readings on male 15 year olds?

An EKG should be accurate assuming it was done properly at both locations. It should not be significantly altered by the age or the body habitus of the patient. I would recommend you have an EKG done and read by a cardiologist. It sounds like the readings you are quoting are the automated readings the machine produces.
