Chest, Shoulder And Back Pain. Chest X-ray Shows Cardiomolegy. History Of High BP, Diabetes. Treatment?

i was admitted to hospital as i had heavy pressure feeling in centre of my chest with pains going to my shoulder and really bad upper back pain , ecg was ok with first one a little low and blood test showed high level of white blood cells , chest xray showed i have mild cardiomolegy should i be worried as i suffer with really high blood presure around 220/89 and diabetic type 2 on metformin prolonged realease

Dear customer,

The chest pain in your case is likely to be due to the myocardial ischaemia and high blood pressure which you are having.

The bp of 220/89 is dangerously high and you should immediately consult the doctor/emergency and take the drugs for controlling blood pressure.

The NTG infusion may be needed for the time being to control the blood pressure and regula use of antihypertensive drugs.

You should also have the 2d echo, coronary angiography to know any underlying etiology.

You should NOT delay the urgent treatment and seek immediate medical care.
