Chest Tightness, Discomfort, Difficulty Breathing, Pain On Coughing. Treatment For Symptoms?
Ever since I woke up today, my chest has felt tight and uncomfortable. It is harder to breathe than normal and when I try to take a deep breath my chest hurts on the sides, the middle and to the shoulders. When i cough it also hurts. My heart rate feels normal. This has been going on all day for 14 hours and has not got better.

hello, hope this messga finds you in good mood. chest dicomfort,tightness,breathlessness,pain on coughing,pain on deep inspiration is suggestive of pleural involment may be pleural effusion or lung infection spreading in to pleura may be pneumonia.I advice you to take chest x ray and consult your family doctor or near by pulmonolgist.wishing you a good health.
