Chest X-ray Shows Suspicious Densities, Lung Field Apicolordotic View, Suggested Cardiomegaly
hi , my chest xray results says, there are suspicious densities in the left upper lung field. the heart is enlarged. the pulmonary vessels are within normal limits. the trachea is in the midline. Both hemidiaphragms are sharp and distinct. the osseous thoracic cage reveals no significant bony abnormality
conclusion: suspecious densities, left upper lung field apicolordotic view is suggested cardiomegaly

There are 2 different issues -
Definite density in that area is most likely Tuberculosis, unless proved otherwise. It is suspicious because, it is overshadowed by rib - so a special angled view is necessary to see clearly...
Enlarged heart - may be true / or false impression from rotation, picture in exhalation and so on. Physical examination, ECG and ECHOcardiogram should be done for further evaluation... Conditions like Hypertension are the usual causes...

apico-lardotic view has been advised to clear the presence or absence of suspicious densities in your left upper zone because this particular view shows upper part of ling (apex) in a better way.
if your x-ray film shows proper lung expansion (e.g. it is not expiratory film ), then next step in work up of cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) is ECHOcardiography. I would recommend you to discuss your x-ray with your physician and proceed as per his advise.

Investigations like X ray always correlated clinically with the result, suspicious densities or radiopacities in apical region sometimes not visible clearly in PA view X ray hence a Lordotic view is suggested for the diagnosis of Pulmonary Tuberculosis or other pathology.
If there is doubt now you can get a CT scan chest which gives pathology in details.
In the same way cardiomegaly in X ray needs confirmation common cause are Hypertension, IHD, any valvular heart disease.Cardiomyopathy.
You can get 2 D Echocardiography which measures heart more accurately and gives details about function of heart.
