Child Has White, Raised Marks On Chest, Tummy, No Instance Of Injury. Any Ideas?

My 3 year old daughter has little white raised marks on her chest , tummy, back and sides. They dont seem to bother her but I have noticed that once they appear they dont disappear and also that over the last few months more and more seem to have developed. My gp has said that they believe it is just where her body is overhealing from small scratches etc. However she has not has injuries in the places she has these marks. I have no idea what they could be!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query.

She might be suffering from a mild fungal infection,

It is called as P versicolor.

It is a common condition in children.

Dont worry just apply some anti fungal cream for month,

She should get relief from this.

Please meet a dermatologist and discuss regarding this.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.

A benign fungal infection like Pitriasis alba may cause small white patches in children.Other possibilities would include connective tissue disorders,a opinion from a dermatologist may be sought .
