Child Having Dry Cough, Prescribed Cherry Cough And Azithral 200. What To Do?

my son is 4 and half years old. he has been having dry cough for almost 5 days now... the intensity of the cough is more during the night... during the day there is not much of a cough... the local doctor prescribed Cherrycough and azithral 200. pls advice.

See this kind of dry cough is usually allergic , specially if without a fever.
If you hear any wheezes or see any breathing difficulty , you must take him to a doctor.
Anti histaminics will help him.
I think you can wait for next 2-3 days and continue with the same medications under your doctor s guidance.
If your child gets fever , wheeze , breathlessness , take him to a doctor.
