Child Having Red Spot On The Upper Back, Not Raised Or Textured, Had Treatment For Fungal Infection. Mole?
Hello, My 8 year old olive complected daughter has developed a red spot a little smaller than a penny on her upper back. Doctor treated her for a fungal and bacteria infection- spot slightly bigger- does not feel raised or textured. she can not feel it or tell that it is there. Could it be a mole and should i be concerned?

Child Having Red Spot On The Upper Back, Not Raised Or Textured, Had Treatment For Fungal Infection. Mole?
Hi, Welcome to Healthcaremagic. The description of lesion as you give makes me suspicious of it being a fungal infection.DO continue the same antifungal cream. If there is any pus formation then a bacterial cause has to be considered. The chances of the lesion being mole are remote. Wish you good health.
