Child Hit On Back Started Choking, Vomited Couple Of Times, Some Blood Seen. Should I Worry ?
This morning I got really scared. My 4 year old pushed my 1 year old on her back, she started crying, and as I am watching her she starting chocking. She spit out some of her breakfast, took a breath, and chocked again. I performed the baby Heimlich on her, she vomited a couple more times, and finally expelled staples that were still attached to one another. About 10 together. There were some blood, which means that she got her throat scratched. Should I worry about any remainders? I mean, is it possible that 1 or 2 got detached? She threw up quite violently. My husband is an MD, but he is at work. I just thought I would ask to get a second opinion.

what's staples?
Do you mean to say stapler pins!If so then you must get xray done to get ruled out if there are any remaining pins and this is an emergency. If it is a non metallic biologic material then do not worry the inside skin of baby of throat will heal in few days.
