Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
Please understand that
headaches are just a symptom of some underlying problem. In my opinion we will have to concentrate on the other symptoms more than the headaches.
The first thing you should do is to visit a doctor to examine your daughters abdomen and pelvis. This will be supported by an abdominal and pelvic
ultrasound.
A
fever is suggestive of an infection, so a routine blood and urine investigation will help in realizing the cause to be an infection. The associated headache could be due to
dehydration, infection, or even
malnutrition.
If an infection is diagnosed, antibiotic therapy will help relieve your doctor of her symptoms. Also, discuss the possibility of a course of deworming medication with your daughters doctor, such presentation is also seen in patients with parasitic infections.
The last resort, once all reports and investigations have returned normal, would be to discuss a psychological-aspect with your doctor, as abdominal and headaches of unknown origin is commonly seen in attention craving, depressed or even anxious children.
Please consider all possibilities, and give your daughter the attention, love and care she needs.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
