Chills And Fever With Body Ache In The Afternoons. On Antibiotics For Salmonella Typhi. Time To Recover?

Hello doctor
On May 31st my stool culture came positive with salmonella typhi. On june 1st I started taking antibiotics and I am taking only crackers and fruits and plenty of water. In the afternoon I feel chills and rise of fever and also body aches. If I study my stuff for one hour if am lying down, feels like tired and then i take break. How long will this fever last? I have exam next month, can I study with frequent breaks while i am lying down.

Hi, Mitu, Your stool culture test became positive for salmonella typhi, chills, fever, and body aches.
Any how you are under treatment, you consult your doctor for follow up. He may change some alternate medicine , you will be fine in no time.
Avoid taking fruits and crackers, and spicy foods.
I usually prescribe ciprofloxacin and necessory drugs for cure.
