Chronic Headaches. CT Scan Of Head Shows Shadow, MRI Ordered. Brain Tumor?

hi! i have had headaches for 8 to 9 months now and after demndin to my doc to recomend me to ct head scan he did at the end, i had my ct scan on 16-8-12 and has shown a shadow, so they have booked me a MRI scan im worried to death that is something serious like brain tomour, is it usuall for ct head scans to show shadow, many thanks,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and the CT findings.

Shadow on CT is a non-specific finding and it would be better if you can upload the entire CT scan report.

In any case, there is no need to worry about a tumor, unless a diagnosis is confirmed for the same.

MRI brain would be able to sort out the diagnosis.
