Cleaning Belly Button, Dark Brown Wax Like Substance, Scab. Causes And Treatment?

Hi, two days ago I was cleaning my belly button out and its really hard to clean cause its really deep and small. I notice that a dark brown almost looked like ear wax but not as thick coming out of it. And a scab. What could this be? My stomach hurts in that area now.But it usually does when I clean it. What should I do?

Hi,Thanks for query,
Our belly button or umbillicus is a obliterated placenta usually not open for passage but some times it passes or secretes the content of intestine cause you smell.
This happens in many individuals so nothing to worry.
Just clean it.The associated pain will go within a day or too.
