Clitoral Area Has Pink Slit That Hurts, Been Stressed. Applied Ointment. Will It Get Better?
In clitoral/hood area I have a pink slit (straight line) that hurts. Months ago is when I noticed the first one and OB said it was an irritant and prescribed me some ointment but it burns when I put it on. The first slit was off to the right before but now it s in the middle of my clit. I don t use anything different as far as laundry or soaps. I have been under a lot of stress. And discharge has been increased. Not sure if it s all related. What is it and what can I do to heal it? Thank you
Hi thanks for your question. Most probably your having a bruise over the clitorus, may be due to local trauma or friction.Stress decreases immunity making body more vulnerable to infection. This bruise might have got infected giving rise to discharge. Keep the local area clean and dry, Apply locally antibiotic ointment. You may also need systemic antibiotic and analgesic anti inflammatory drugs. Consultation with a gynecologist is encouraged. Hope this answers your question.
