hi abubakar...
welcome to healthcaremagic..

well after going through your query i can make out that you have got flu 2 weeks back in which there is collection of mucus in nose which acts as a growth media for bacteria an there is secondary bacterial infection, and this bacterial infection can spread to ear through a connection between nose and ear called eustachian tube.. this is the reason why your doctor has advised you antibiotic to stop the spread of infection.. anyhow the use of fluticasone which is a steriod was not not necessary instead a painkiller would have been sufficient ..

as far as the plug in ear is concerned.. it may be due to two reasons
1)improper or inadequate treatment by antibiotics.. as amoxicillin alone is not enough to reduce infection instead a combination of amoxi and clavulante would have been better..
2)other reason may be that there may be wax in you ear.. which is nothing but a collection of dirt..

in either cases you should visit a nearby ent doctor and get examined.. and treated with proper antibiotics for atleast 7 days to avoid a complication called glue ear..

i hope this solves your query..
i wish u a speedy recovery and good health..
thanks & take care..
