Cold, Fever, Exhaustion, Lump In Armpit Related To Cold?

I have had a really bad cold which has lasted 4 days, high temperature and feeling exhausted. I have started to feel better but one I have noticed a lump in my right armpit, it feels like it is full of fluid , it is soft and moves. It is not greatly tender to touch, my whole armpit is because I can t stop touching it, could this be related to the cold or something different.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Hope you have completely recovered from the seasonal influenza.
The swelling in the right armpit could be furunculosis (infection and inflammation of the hair follicle), caused maybe by scratching or excessive sweating.

Advice to cleanse the armpit with Warm water , air dry and then sprinkle or spray Neosporin Powder.
Do not use any rough cloth or sharp articles.

If the pain / swelling increases - consult a Gen. Physician / Gen. Surgeon for evaluation and right course of antibiotic.

Wish you quick recovery.
