Cold Symptoms, CT Showed Polyps On Thyroid And Lungs. Do They Not Show Up In MRI ?

i went to the hospital er with cold symptoms and after a chest xray was completed, the dr.requested a chest ct. the medicine was put through my iv portal and when the results came back,the dr.said i had polyps on my thyroid and lungs. why didn't these polys show up on the recent mri i hsad done on my neck. i am scheduled for C-4,C-5 disc surgery in Sept.

Hi, you had cold symptoms so now you ask for only cold treatment, there are polyps, and they didn't show any symptoms so dont worry about them. When they show any symptoms you can approach the chest physician for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
