Congestive Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrallation And Now Type 2 Diabetes
I have Congestive Heart Failure + Atrial Fibrallation and now type 2 Diabetes, do you think that this is a good time to get my personal affairs in order? I am on a low fat diet, take too many medications to mention them all by name, dont drink dont smoke, i'm only 55, in constant pain , cant walk far, live alone, constantly out of breath, Ive had heart failure since childhood so suppose have'nt done to bad.
I'm very sorry to hear about your condition, unfortunatley CHF and AF go hand in hand and type 2 diabetes occurs most frequently around your age. There are many people in similar situations and i see them on a regular basis (I'm a nurse)
Some people find that when they have their affairs in order and don't have to worry about what will happen should the worst happen, they can actually enjoy their lives more and studies have shown this helps people's mental well-being by combating depression. Also being proactive helps you regain an element of control that many people feel they have lost when Dr's and health professionals seem to rule their lives.
I wish you all the best
