Consistent Chest Pains. Test Results Normal. What Could Be Wrong?

hello Doc, I have been suffering from chest pains for quite a while now. I have done tests and yet nothing showed what the cause of the pain. I had blood test done, my cholesterol was 7.2, Xray was clear, Threadmill test came clear. This pain is on and Off, right now, I am in sever pain. I have asked the Doc for to send for CT Scan or Any Scan that can show detailed results. I am worried because I have not been told what is wrong with me. I am fed up.

Thanks for your query to us.
You have not mentioned the details about yourself like age, gender, clinical history, history of associated medical disorders etc.
Since your treadmill test was normal, a pain of angina is unlikely. Moreover pain of heart are usually not severe.
Best approach is to see a good internist and get yourself examined. Then whatever one or two possibilities he think are more likely, should be investigated.
Unfocused investigations will not help.
