Hi
Never put anything inside the ear - only the doctor is allowed to do that, under vision
One doesn't know the source of discharge - it may be the middle ear, it could have long term complications and consequences.....
If a thing does not work, you may have to change to another - either it is resistant ot he disease is different. It is wiser to see the Ear specialist again - have a second opinion. Don't risk hearing loss and other complications - by ignoring and/or denial
Take care / all the best
Good luck

Hello,

Welcome to the forum. You have been suffering from ear infection since a year. It is time for you to see an ENT specialist before your problems becomes chronic. Your ear should be clinically examined. Watery discharge from the ear can be due to otitis media, in your case the probable diagnosis could be suppurative otitis media which has progressed from the acute stage to chronic.

The pain and sore that you are experiencing behind the ear can be due to infection that is spreading into the lymphatic glands. Do not fiddle with your ear.

You are in need of antibiotics, analgesics and ear drops. You may need a few blood tests. Do not swim till you are under treatment, also avoid ice-creams and refrigerated products. Have a nice day, take care.
