Constant Cold With Sinusitis. Advised Surgery In Nose. Any Suggestions Other Than Surgery?
sir, I am from Trivandrum, everytime i am having cold currently i am working in Qatar, from there i got sinusitis. Now i am here Kerala for vacation but i wil go on next month but before that i need a solution. where i hav to go? because i consulted with one ENT doctor and one ayurvedic doctor but they told me that i need a small surgeory in my nose (becauseits not straight) but i dont want to please i need your valuable suggestions for this.

hi...
you have constant cold and sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and secondary infection..
you have advised for the surgery for DNS, but you dont want to undergo..
you can try with a montelucast and cetrizine combination which is a mast cell stabilizer, given for 3 months helps...
if it does not help, you can go for FESS surgery..
along with that you can try naturopathy, desensitization, yoga and pranayam may help..

According to you,you are having deviated nasal septum.
Constant cold with sinusitis is most likely due to Allergic.Allergy may be of cold weather,smoky,dusty area,or any perfume.
You will get some relief after surgery. but you have to avoid triggering factor.
Avoid cold,chilled foods,cold drinks,oily,spicy food.Use handkerchief to cover the nose in dusty,smoky area.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
