Constant Headache And Neck Pain, Usually Dispirin, Provanol Helps. Possible Causes ?

I suffer from a constant headache and neck pain for the last one and a half years. The headache is in one part of the head. Sometimes there is pain in one of eyes also. Also, I have severe head and neck pain. The chronology is given below - I sufferrred from headaches when I was 20 years. disprin or ultracep, provanol -sr 40,rizora 5 would usually cure the pain

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

The most likely diagnosis in your case is chronic migraine.

If you are having frequent headaches (more than twice a month), you should also start preventive medications such as flunarizine, beta blockers, topiramate, divalproex, etc. With these medicines, your headache frequency will reduce.

If the headache is not responding to the above, botox therapy is also recommended.
