Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding unwanted sound in your ear which you usually recognize in silent atmosphere.
This type of unwanted sound is produced in our internal ear (cochlea)by spontaneous depolarization of hair cells, this disease is named as TINNITUS.

Most of the time this is incurable and therefore patient is advice to learn live with this sound. If you have interest in music than you can put ear phone and enjoy light music in silent atmosphere. Some times it is a manifestation of complication of some systemic diseases like- Hypertension, diabetes,Hyperlipidemia, etc. in these diseases patients some times gets benefited by managing primary disease thoroughly.
There is a neoplastic condition of brain (viii cr nerve) named as Acoustic Nuroma where patient gets one sided tinnitus.
So please re consult your doctor to rule out above listed conditions one by one for your better care.

Hope you are now satisfy about your query.

Regards.
