Constant Pain Inside Eye, White Portion Become Reddish, Discomfort, No Discharge, Vision Ok. Diagnosis?
I am feeling a constant pain in the inside corner of my left eye for the last 3/4 days. The white portion of the affected area has also become a little redish, but there is no water coming out or flowing out of my said eye. Due to the constant slight pain I am feeling very uneasy day and night though my vision is ok. Please help me with the diagnosis
Hello, as information provided by you in the history pain, redness and no discharge and no visual problems, all indicate infalmmation of the white portion of the eye, probably inflammation of episclera or sclera. Usually these infalmmatory conditions are seen in middle aged adults and sometimes they may be associated with some systemic diseases. Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor for further examination and treatment. Thank you
