Continuous Headache Post Delivery. Which Medicines Can Be Taken?
I have my niece who gave birth to a baby boy 8 months ago and since after birth she started to have continuous headaches which she consulted her medical practitioner, even now she still got headaches. During her delivery she had to go for emmegency delivery because the doctors said she had blood pressure . Could you please help what she can do to help her
Hello It seems from the history that your niece is having headache following delivery and she had high blood pressure during pregnancy because of which she underwent emergency delivery. Increased blood pressure present during pregnancy may continue even after pregnancy and this increased blood pressure can cause headache. Hence first thing to be done is measurement of blood pressure to rule out hypertension as a cause for headache. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
