Cornea Not Responsive To Light. History Of Eye Injury. How To Improve Corneal Movement?

Dear Sir/Madam Two months before I was suffered from eye accident happened. At the time of accident one persons hand suddenly come to my right eye. (Punched on right eye) internal bleeding happened in right eye. full red colour and swelling is there at that time, From Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital Pune Doctors treated me and recovered from that accident. But currently my eye cornea is not in normal position and it is not responding to light. Please help to improve my cornea movement.

Hi, Post trauma if your vision is not improving and there is restriction of movement then you may have cranial nerve palsy, muscle entrapment, floor fracture.If there is no improvement in vision then you may be suffering from traumatic optic nueropathy, ie damage to your optic nerve which is irreparable.Your vision in this case may remain whatever it is now and wont improve much.If you have any corneal exposure post trauma and suffering from exposure keratopathy, it can be treated with lubricants, tarsorraphy etc.I believe you must visit an oculoplastic surgeon who can help you out in evaluating and guiding you better...TC..Dr Ajay Shankar Kar
