Coughing Mucus Only After Masturbating, Tasted Some Blood. Sexually Active. Reason?
Hello, I am an 18 year old male. Recently I've noticed for this past week, that I begin to cough with mucus after I masterbate. I do not cough at all during the entire day, I sometimes even forget about the cough because it never comes out unless I masterbate. I cough and I can feel some mucus (phlegm) in me. Last night I thought I tasted some blood, so I spit out some mucus (phlegm) after masterbating and it was red and seemed very bloody to me. I am worried and frightened. I don't want to tell my parents. I am sexually active. I do not regularly smoke, but I have tried it before.
Dear User, However there is no direct relation of Masturbating & Cough, but still if you are having blood in phlegm, you must rule out the cause, see your doctor to have a thorough check up. Avoid smoking. Need not to worry that it is because you are sexually active, You can discuss with parents & doctor, most probably its because of a different cause. Thanks & Regards Dr. Narinder Kumar
