Could Hoshimotos Result In Visible Appearance Of Veins On The Sides Of The Arm?

I m a male, 34 years of age in good shape. Just today I noticed blue veins showing through on the side of my body underneath my arms. Why am I seen this all of the sudden? Also when I sleep at night my arms go numb as I sleep on my side. Only medical problem is hoshimotos which I take medicine for.

Hello
This isn't related to your Hashimotos but you may have a problem with a stenosis--narrowing--of the subclavian vein on that side.

You need to have a doctor look at you and see if a venogram study is in order
