Hi,

During breast feeding mother has natural protection from conception (due to lactating hormones) so the chance of pregnancy is rare, if you are following breast feeding solely. But if you give top feed in between, there is chance of conception. I would suggest to wait for periods for one more week and in absence of periods, confirm absence of pregnancy by home pregnancy testing. Also, an advice of using some contraceptive (with advice of your gynecologist) like barrier contraceptive like condom, to avoid such problem in the future.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
