Could I Have Damaged Internal Organs After Falling Onto My Left Lower Rib Cage, While Experiencing Severe Pain While Coughing Or Clearing My Throat?

Hi, I fell on the bath tub edge. slipped and fell to my left and back back wards. I put my hand out but landed full force on to my left lower rib cage. I can barely clear my throat with out a large amount of pain, to cough is almost unbearable. It feels internal, under the rib cage. Could i have damaged any internal organs. This happened three days ago and it has gotten SLIGHTY better but not much. Not black and blue.
